You Are Now Leaving . . . National Photo Month, Day 11

Here's my photo of the kids taking photos of their shadows taking photos. Confused?

We're all on the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge that spans the Missouri River, with Omaha on one side and Council Bluffs, Iowa, on the other.

The footbridge is about 3,000 feet long. On a very windy day--of which there are many in this region--one can actually feel the suspended bridge sway slightly.

Make it a great day!

  1. It is a beautiful bridge, I wonder if I would feel a little seasick as it swayed!

  3. This is a fun shot and it looks like a fun location as well. Not so sure I'd want to feel that bridge sway, though!

  4. It's a strange feeling being able to stand with one foot in one region and the other foot in another! A fun suspension bridge!
