Springtime Brilliance

NATIONAL PHOTO MONTH, DAY 3

Tuesday evening, as the sleet crackled against the windows and gave way to snow, our neighbor rang the doorbell.

She brought us this pretty bouquet. She had hastily cut all of her magnificent tulips so they wouldn't be destroyed by the spring storm. What a lovely gesture!

Make it a great day!

  2. Wow those are gorgeous! The colors just pop off the screen! What a nice gift, so sweet. We are having the same miserable weather here. Spring was here for about three days and left again. Thanks for sharing your cheery blooms!

  3. Your picture is beautiful... our tulips made it through the 36 degree temps and all day snow we had yesterday (didn't stick)... so I could see them this morning again. How thoughtful of your neighbor!

  4. What a lovely thing to do! The flowers are meant to be enjoyed and it is so sad when they are pounded into the ground by heavy snow. the colours are gorgeous.
